Top questions
Getting started
Does Corino replace my blood pressure monitor?
No. Corino doesn’t measure blood pressure: your monitor takes the reading, as it always has. Corino makes logging it quick and keeps it ready for your doctor. No iPhone app can take a blood pressure reading with the phone alone.
Which monitors work with Corino?
Any monitor. Type the numbers on the large keypad, fill them in from a photo of the monitor’s screen (Corino Pro), or bring them in from Apple Health if your monitor’s app saves readings there, as OMRON connect and Withings do.
How does filling in from a photo work?
Tap Scan, hold your iPhone over the monitor’s screen, and Corino fills in the numbers. Always check them: Corino highlights any digit it is unsure of, and never saves a reading until you tap Save. The photo stays on your iPhone and isn’t kept.
What do the ranges mean?
Corino shows which range a reading falls in under the guideline you choose in Settings › Guideline: AHA/ACC 2025, ESC 2024, ESH 2023 or JSH 2025. It uses each guideline’s values for readings taken at home. A category for an average needs readings on at least two different days. The ranges are reference information; talk to your doctor about what your readings mean for you. Settings › Sources lists each guideline with a link.
What happens with a very high reading?
The reading is saved, and Corino shows a calm safety message: if you have symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, weakness, or changes in vision or speech, call your local emergency number; if not, rest, take another reading and contact your doctor. Corino cannot call for help itself.
iCloud sync
How do my readings get to my other devices?
If you’re signed in to iCloud with the same Apple Account, Corino syncs what you enter through your private iCloud automatically: readings you type, scan or import from a file, people, medications and home checks. There is no Corino account and nothing to set up. Corino also works fully offline and catches up when you’re back online.
Readings that come from Apple Health don’t go through iCloud. Each device reads them from Apple Health itself, so connect Apple Health in Corino on each device where you want them.
A reading hasn’t appeared on my other device.
- Check that both devices are signed in to the same Apple Account and connected to the internet.
- In the Settings app › your name › iCloud, make sure Corino is allowed to use iCloud and that your iCloud storage isn’t full.
- Open Corino on both devices and wait a moment; syncing can take a minute.
What happens if I sign out of iCloud or turn sync off?
The readings on your iPhone stay there. New readings are kept on that device until iCloud is available for Corino again.
Apple Health
How do I connect Apple Health?
Go to Settings › Apple Health › Connect Apple Health, and choose what Corino may read and save. Corino works fully even if you say no, and you can change your choice at any time in the Health app (tap your picture, then Apps › Corino).
What does Corino read and save in Health?
Corino saves the readings you log in Corino (blood pressure and pulse). It reads blood pressure and heart rate that other apps, such as your monitor’s app, saved to Health, and Apple Watch hypertension notifications on iOS 26.2 and later. Editing or deleting a reading in Corino updates Health too. Corino never changes or deletes readings that other apps saved.
Can I bring in my earlier readings from Health?
Yes. In Settings › Apple Health, tap “Import readings from Health”. Readings already in Corino aren’t added twice. Without Corino Pro, readings older than 14 days are kept and appear with Pro.
Do family members sync with Health?
No. Apple Health holds one person’s data, so only the main person in Corino is connected to it.
Reports, export and import
How do I make a report for my doctor?
With Corino Pro, go to History or Settings › Doctor report, choose the days, and share or print the PDF. It includes your averages, morning and evening, your medications and every reading. It includes your name and birth year if they are in your profile; you can turn each off before sharing.
Can I export my readings?
With Corino Pro, go to Settings › Import & Export. “Export readings (CSV)” makes a spreadsheet file of one person’s readings that opens in Numbers or Excel. “Back up everything” makes one file with everyone’s readings, medications and home checks, which you can import later. If Apple Health is connected, your readings are also in Health.
Can I bring readings from another app?
Yes, for free. If the other app saves to Apple Health, import from Health. Otherwise export a CSV file from that app and open it in Settings › Import & Export. Corino recognises files from OMRON, Withings and Corino, and lets you match the columns of other files, with a preview before anything is added. Importing never replaces or deletes what is already in Corino.
Deleting data
How do I delete a reading?
In History, swipe the reading to the left, or open it and tap “Delete reading”. It is removed from all your devices. If Corino saved it to Apple Health and Apple Health is still connected, it is removed there too. A reading that came from Apple Health is removed from Corino only; it stays in Health.
How do I delete a family member’s log?
In Settings › Family, open the person and tap Delete. Their readings, medications and home checks are deleted from your iPhone and from iCloud. This can’t be undone.
How do I delete everything?
- In the Settings app › your name › iCloud › Manage Storage (or Manage Account Storage) › Corino, choose Delete Data from iCloud.
- Delete the Corino app on each of your devices.
- Readings Corino saved to Apple Health stay there until you delete them in the Health app: Browse › Heart › Blood Pressure › Data Sources & Access, then choose Corino.
Do step 1 first; otherwise your log comes back from iCloud when you install Corino again. We have no copy of your readings. If you shared usage data, see how to have it deleted before you delete the app.
Corino Pro and subscriptions
What’s free, and what does Pro add?
Free: log as many readings as you like, see your last 14 days, and keep one reminder. Corino Pro adds your full history and charts, the doctor report, filling in from a photo, the 7-day home check, medications, family profiles, widgets, export and App Lock. Older readings are never deleted on the free plan; Pro shows them again.
Which plans are there?
Annual (with a free trial for new subscribers, and Family Sharing), Monthly, or Lifetime, a single purchase. There are no weekly plans. Prices in your currency are shown in Corino before you buy.
How does the free trial work?
Everything in Pro opens on the first day, and you pay nothing then. If you allow notifications, Corino reminds you two days before the trial ends. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end and nothing is charged. The date is always in Settings › Corino Pro.
How do I cancel?
In Corino › Settings › Corino Pro › Manage Subscription, or in the Settings app › your name › Subscriptions. Pro stays on until the end of the time you’ve paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
I bought Pro, but it isn’t showing. How do I restore it?
Go to Settings › Corino Pro › Restore Purchases, signed in with the Apple Account you bought it with. If the purchase was shared through Family Sharing, the family organizer manages it.
How do I ask for a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Go to Settings › Corino Pro › Request a Refund, or visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I redeem an offer code?
Go to Settings › Corino Pro › Redeem a Code.
Family
Can my family use my Corino Pro?
Yes, with the annual plan. Through Apple Family Sharing it can be shared with up to five other family members, each on their own iPhone. The monthly plan and the lifetime purchase aren’t shared. If a child asks to buy, Corino Pro turns on once the organizer approves.
Can I keep a log for someone else on my iPhone?
Yes, with Corino Pro. In Settings › Family, add a partner or parent. Each person has their own readings, guideline, reminders and report. Switch between people on the Summary screen.
App Lock
How do I lock Corino?
With Corino Pro, go to Settings › Privacy and turn on Require Face ID (or Touch ID, Optic ID or Passcode). Corino then asks each time you open it, and hides your readings in the app switcher. Your passcode always works too. If your iPhone has no passcode, set one first in the Settings app.
Is everything hidden when Corino is locked?
Widgets on your Home Screen and Lock Screen still show your latest reading, so remove them if you don’t want that. Medication reminders don’t show the medication’s name or dose while App Lock is on. Siri and Shortcuts work with Corino only when your iPhone is unlocked, whether or not App Lock is on.
Privacy and usage data
What does “Share usage data” do?
If you turn it on, Corino sends us which features are used, crash reports and, at the end of setup, which design of the Pro offer to show. It never includes a reading, pulse, medication, note, name or anything from Apple Health. It is off unless you turn it on; Corino asks once during setup, and you can change it any time in Settings › Privacy. Corino works the same either way. The Privacy Policy lists every event.
How do I get my usage data deleted?
Your analytics ID is a random ID that Corino creates on your iPhone when it sends the first event, and gives to Amplitude. Once Corino has sent usage data, Settings › Privacy shows it with a Copy ID button. Copy it and send it to support@corino.app. We delete the events linked to it. Without the ID we can’t find them, because they aren’t linked to your name or email.
Can you see my readings?
No. Your readings stay on your devices, in your private iCloud and, if you connect it, in Apple Health. Corino has no server and no account.
Contact
Write to support@corino.app. It helps to include your iPhone model, the iOS version and Corino’s version (Settings › About). Please don’t send readings unless you want us to see them.
Corino is not for emergencies. If you feel unwell, call your local emergency number.
